OKLAHOMA CITY -- Jaison Williams scored a career-high 21 points and Kevin Bookout added 10 points and 13 rebounds as Oklahoma squandered a 14-point second-half lead but rallied to beat Tulsa 70-64.
Anthony Price scored inside to cap a 20-5 run that gave Tulsa a 60-59 lead with 3 minutes to play. Lawrence McKenzie answered with a long 3-pointer from the right wing to give Oklahoma the lead for good and Price missed a pair of free throws on Tulsa's next possession to help the Sooners build on their lead.
Bookout put back a Taj Gray miss to make it 64-60 and answered a Jarius Glenn runner with a right-handed hook shot to maintain Oklahoma's lead. Williams hit four free throws in the final minute to preserve the lead.

Price finished with 19 points and Glenn had 16 points and nine rebounds as Tulsa (2-6) nearly gave Alvin Williams a victorious head coaching debut. Williamson replaced John Phillips, who resigned on Saturday.
Terrell Everett had 15 points, McKenzie added 13 points and Gray scored 10 for Oklahoma (8-2). The Sooners outrebounded Tulsa 33-28 and limited the Golden Hurricane to five offensive rebounds and four second-chance points.
The Sooners pulled ahead with a 10-0 run in the final 1:39 of the first half as Williams and McKenzie hit back-to-back 3-pointers before Gray's two-handed slam made it 33-23.
Brett McDade hit a driving layup just before halftime to pull Tulsa within eight.
The Sooners led 54-40 after a steal and right-handed layup by Everett. Then Tulsa began to rally back.
The Golden Hurricane scored 10 straight points and pulled within 56-54 when Vernell Davis slipped behind Bookout for a layup with just under 7 minutes to play. Price gave Tulsa its first lead of the second half with two free throws with 4:14 to play.
Davis scored 12 points and Seneca Collins added 10 for Tulsa.
Oklahoma bolted out to a 7-0 lead following consecutive baskets inside by Bookout, but Tulsa answered with a 10-0 rally that included eight points from Collins.
