NORMAN, Okla. The Oklahoma volleyball team couldn't keep pace with No. 5 Nebraska on Saturday afternoon in Lincoln. The Huskers swept the Sooners by scores of 17-30, 22-30, 16-30 to improve to 6-0 in conference, while the loss dropped OU to 0-7 in Big 12 and-8-7 overall.
The best performance of the night for OU was turned in by senior libero Stephanie Tengram. Tengram had a match-high 16 digs and responded well to the Huskers' attack, which called her number often.
Sophomore Jennifer Adams was the only Sooner to record double-digits kills. Adams put away 11 kills and topped 10 for the first time in eight matches.
As a team the Sooners were outdone in every category by the Huskers. The biggest discrepancy was in hitting percentage where NU hit .351 and OU hit .086. The Sooners only tallied 36 kills to the Huskers 53.
Box Score
