Oklahoma's football team resumed two-a-day drills Wednesday. The first workout ran from 8-10:30 a.m., and gave OU players and coaches an opportunity to build off Tuesday's scrimmage.
Thursday's lone practice is set to begin at approximately 8:30 a.m., and will run two to two and one-half hours.
Here are comments from OU head coach Bob Stoops following the Wednesday morning workout ...
On Will Peoples (who was injured in Tuesday's scrimmage): "He's fine. It's not a big deal. He's walking around. Things look just fine. He'll be back practicing shortly."
On Paul Thompson's progress: "He's doing real well. He looks more at ease and more sure of himself. He can make plays. He just looks a lot more comfortable. He just continues to improve. His release is extremely fast. In fact, the receivers are very aware of it."
