Athlon's preseason football publication is listing Oklahoma at the top of its preseason predictions. The Sooners hold the No. 1 national ranking and many of the magazine's preseason honors.

Athlon's picks three OU players as first-team ALl-American and one as a third-teammer. DL Tommie Harris, LB Teddy Lehman and DB Brandon Everage are first team picks, while CB Derrick Strait was named to the third team.

Preseason All-Big 12 players from OU included OL Jamal Brown, DL Tommie Harris, LB Teddy Lehman, DB Brandon Everage and DB Derrick Strait on the first team with. OL Wes Sims, DL Kory Klein, DL Jonathan Jackson, LB Lance Mitchell, and Punt Returner Antonio Perkins on the second team.

Among Big 12 schools, Athlon's picked OU No. 1 on the offensive and defensive lines, at linebacker and at defensive back. It also tabbed OU's recruiting class as tops in the league.

The magazine will hit most major newsstands June 6.
