Norman, Okla. - University of Oklahoma head football coach Bob Stoops has determined the 15 dates on which his team will practice this spring. The Sooners also have times set for most of those dates, although fans planning to attend the open workouts are reminded that the times and dates are subject to change, sometimes on short notice.
The first day of spring practice is March 10. The team will then practice on March 11, 12 and 13 before taking a week off for spring break. Practice resumes March 26 and proceeds with other March dates on the 18th, 29th and 31st.
In April, the Sooners are set to practice on the 2nd, 4th, 7th, 9th and 10th with the spring game slated for the 12th at 1:30 p.m.
The weekday practices will run from 4:10-6:40 p.m. The times for the weekend practices are yet to be determined. OU will practice either on the fields directly south of Oklahoma Memorial Stadium or in the stadium for most of its spring workouts.
