Norman, Okla. - ESPN GameDay is expanding its coverage into spring football and Oklahoma is one of the five schools that will get a visit from Chris Fowler, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit. In fact, the spring tour kicks off in Norman with the Red/White Spring Game on April 12. That segment will be taped and will air on the April 14 SportsCenter. After GameDay leaves Norman, it will make stops at Notre Dame, Penn State, Iowa and Ohio State.
GameDay producer Mark Gross said that the set-up probably won't include all of the equipment ordinarily used during football season, but that it will look very similar to the fans. Details as to where the set will actually be located at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium are yet to be determined.
