DL Kory Klein
On the defensive line's performance against Missouri
We just kept coming at them, kept coming at them. They were just wearing down.
On his face mask penalty
I tell everyone, his facemask hit my hand. It was a good call, I guess. My hand touched it -- I didn't grab it. They gotta call it.
OG Davin Joseph
On the running game
Right now we have a lot of confidence on our offense being pretty explosive. We're able to put points on the board, and we've got some great play receivers, great running backs and the line's coming together pretty well. Jason is doing his thing -- we're just looking at it as an oppurtunity to have more fun.
On having Jason (White) back this year
It's been a lot of fun having him back and it seems like he is having so much fun out there. His energy carries on to everyone else when they're playing.
On blocking for different running backs
No, there isn't any difference really. I was pretty happy to see Donta (Hickson) in there this weekend -- knowing he's a good tailback and very explosive. I think it changes it up a little bit but it's for our benefit.
On what Donta brings to the team
He has a little bit more speed, and more durability. I think changing him in the lineup a little bit gives Renaldo (Works) a little rest, Kejuan a little rest and it changes our style a little bit in running.
On the evolution of Jason White
I didn't know he was that good. To go through what he has been through and stay motivated and everything to get through his injuries and come out here and have an excellent senior season -- I just think it's great.
DB Matt McCoy
On playing on special teams and defense
We had two kickoffs in a row, ran that punt return back and then we had a couple punts. So I'm on all the special teams. Those are like 60-yard sprints every single time and then you turn around and I was having to play on defense for a little while so I was getting blown up.
On Donta Hickson
Donta is a really good open fiedl guy. He is a guy that alot of people have not got to see to much of yet. He is a guy that runs hard, he runs hard. He is shifty, but he runs hard. The more he plays the more people are gonna start to see that, he is a tough tough runnner.
On the depth of the team
There are a lot of guys -- Donta is not the only guy that has been hiding or whatever. There is a lot of depth to this team. He was one of those guys that we were just waiting on -- if he got a chance he was gonna get in there and he was gonna make something happen.
On Colorado's offense
They have two real big wide receivers. They're a lot like Josh Norman types -- big, strong, physical guys. At quarterback, he is pretty good too. He is new, but he is making plays for them. They still have a good running game. They still run the zone and the power real well.
On OU's performance in contrast to preseason expectations
Our biggest goal was to improve every single week. I really can honestly say that every single week out we have improved from week to week. That's what we are really focusing on ourselves, improving week to week.
On not looking ahead
That's Coach Stoops biggest thing is not looking ahead. Ever since the day we stepped foot here that's been the motto and we just kind of get in that mode and we dont look ahead. We just focus on what we have ahead of us right now.
On a potential upset
We realize that Colorado has had some ups and downs this year and this could really make their season this year -- if they could get an upset against Oklahoma.
On playing on the road
The Alabama game was a big, big help to us. Going to a place like that -- tough environment -- and getting a big win in a place like that is really helping us for games like Colorado. We know that we can go into another place and compete.
On the weather conditions
We've played in rain -- even this year. The task that we have at hand is going in and playing our 11 versus their 11. Coach is not going to worry about the snow or the rain or whatever.
On being No.1 in the BCS
It's pretty cool, but being week six or seven, it doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot. If this was week 13 or 14 -- that would be a nice thing. Hopefully, we can continue on and be there at the end of the season too.
