OU Wins Second Straight With Victory Over Texas Tech

Scott Named To Soccer America's Team Of The Week

NORMAN, Okla. Freshman forward/midfielder Savannah Scott was named to Soccer America's Team of the Week for the period spanning from Sept. 22-28.

Scott scored the game-winning goal, her second of the season, against then-No 16 Texas on Sunday, Sept. 28, in Norman.  The Sooners defeated Texas 2-1, knocking the Longhorns out of the top-25 and propelling OU to No. 24 in the NSCAA/adidas poll.  It is the first-ever top-25 ranking for the Crimson and Cream, who is 6-3-1 overall and 1-1 in Big 12 play.

Scott is currently third on the team in goals (2), second in assists (3) and fourth in total points (7).
