NORMAN, Okla. - Colorado handed Oklahoma its third straight conference loss, 2-1, in Boulder on Friday afternoon. The Buffaloes got goals from Ashlie Mihalcin and Kristina Lamberty to put away the Sooners.

Senior forward Shannon Wing (Broken Arrow, Okla.) scored for OU in the 76th minute but it was too little too late for OU.

CU's Ashlie Mihalcin scored on a header off a corner kick at 41:23 past OU keeper Catherine Wade (Midland, Texas). Wade had seven saves but allowed another goal when Colorado's Kristina Lamberty got one past her at 75:53.

Wing scored her third goal of the season on a rebound off CU keeper Sara Erskine at 75:58 to pull the Sooners within one goal but Colorado stifled the OU attack the rest of the way and won the game, 2-1.
