NORMAN, Okla. - University of Oklahoma senior guard Nolan Johnson was a starter in the NABC Roundball Challenge against the Harlem Globetrotters Friday night in Minneapolis and contributed six points, four rebounds, one assist, a blocked shot and two steals. Johnson was one of 12 college all-star seniors to participate in the contest, a game which the Globetrotters won by a 75-63 score.
The OU co-captain played 17 minutes and was 3-for-8 from the field and 0-for-2 from three-point range. Johnson also committed one turnover.
Kyle Hill led the NABC All-Stars with 10 points while Marcus Griffin hauled in a team-high eight boards. Fellow Big 12 senior Eric Chenowith of Kansas also started and had seven points and six rebounds. The NABC All-Stars shot just .291 from the field, .185 from three-point land and .533 from the free throw line.
Alex Sanders scored a game-high 18 points for the Globetrotters.
