Oklahoma Head Coach Kelvin Sampson
On the game:
"Tonight's game was a tough one for us. We knew that we'd have to play a great game and the seniors on this team showed great leadership. You have to credit OSU - they have two of the most talented players in our conference in Fredrik Jonzen and Maurice Baker. Baker is simply a star. But I think that our post players did a great job of taking away his passing lanes and making things a little bit more difficult. This is a great win for our team."

On senior forward Jameel Heywood:
"Jameel has gotten better and better over the course of his career here at OU. He was a key for us on the inside with his rebounding."

On senior guard Nolan Johnson:
"Nolan is an all-conference player. When he's playing well there isn't a team in America that he can't score 20 points on. I've been telling Nolan that he had to step up, especially with the adversity this team has been through, and he did that tonight."

On the upcoming Big 12 Tournament:
"I have no idea who we're playing or what seed we're going to be. All I know is right now I don't really care. I just want to go back in that locker and enjoy this win with our kids because they've worked real hard for this and they deserve it."

Oklahoma Sophomore Guard Hollis Price
On the game:
"There was lot of emotion out there on the court tonight. We (the non-seniors) made a pact that we were going to do all we could to get the four seniors this victory. I was pleased with the way I played, especially in the second half. I thought I made some key plays down the stretch."

Oklahoma Senior Guard Nolan Johnson
On the game:
"This was a great victory. I really didn't care how we won. All I know is I wasn't going to lose to Oklahoma State on my senior night at home. I really think this team has some of the best unknown players in the country. I didn't rebound the basketball like I wanted to, but I did all the little things to help this team get the victory."
