  • Ranked 21st in both major polls, Oklahoma improved to 18-4 overall and 7-3 in the Big 12 with its 80-72 win against Texas Tech. Texas Tech fell to 8-11 and 2-6.

  • OU's victory was its sixth straight, tying its longest winning streak of the year.

  • Junior guard J.R. Raymond finished with a game-high 19 points, marking the sixth straight game he has scored at least 15 points. During the six-game stretch, Raymond is averaging 20.3 points and 3.8 three-pointers per outing.

  • After failing to score in OU's last two games, junior forward Daryan Selvy contributed 12 points and a career-high 12 rebounds tonight. It marked his second double-double of the year.

  • Aaron McGhee registered 13 points and a season-high-tying nine rebounds tonight. The junior forward was 1-for-1 from three-point land and is now shooting .500 from long range on the year (17-for-34).

  • Kelley Newton was 3-for-7 from three-point range tonight making him 53-for-108 on the year (.491). He has made at least one trey in 18 of 22 games and at least two in 16 outings.

  • The Sooners committed just nine turnovers tonight compared to Tech's 18. OU, which entered the game averaging a Big 12-low 12.6 turnovers per game, has committed more turnovers than its opponent just three times this year.

  • OU recorded a season-high 26 offensive rebounds tonight. The Sooners, who were credited with 23 total rebounds Saturday at Texas A&M, pulled down 47 total boards this evening (Tech had 36). OU's 47 boards marked its second-highest total of the year (52 versus North Texas).

  • Sophomore guard Hollis Price entered the game as OU's second-leading scorer (12.9 ppg) but didn't score until 2:23 left in the contest and finished with just two points tonight. He is averaging 6.3 points over the last four games.

  • Five Sooners scored in double digits tonight.

  • The Sooners play four of their next five games on the road, including their next two. OU plays at Texas Saturday at 8 p.m. (ESPN) before traveling to face Oklahoma State next Wednesday at 8 p.m. (ESPN Plus).
