Men's Basketball Awards Dinner Set For March 5

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma men's basketball team will hold its annual awards dinner Monday, March 5 on the floor of Lloyd Noble Center. The event, sponsored by the OU Tip In Club, will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Single tickets for the dinner cost $20 each. A full table for eight may be reserved for $160, while a half table for four may be reserved for $80. The reservation deadline is Thursday, March 1.

Spots may be reserved by calling (405) 325-8000.

The OU men's basketball team is 21-5 overall and stands in second place in the Big 12 Conference with a 10-4 record. Head Coach Kelvin Sampson's Sooners have won nine of their last 10 games and play again this Saturday when they travel to Maryland for a 2:30 p.m. CST contest that will be televised by ABC. Oklahoma wraps up its regular season with home games Feb. 28 versus Colorado and March 3 against Oklahoma State.
