  • Oklahoma's 72-44 loss halted its seven-game winning streak, as well as its four-game road winning streak. It also snapped a two-game winning streak at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

  • OU's 28-point margin of defeat was its largest under seventh-year Head Coach Kelvin Sampson.

  • After averaging 47.5 rebounds (20.5 offensive) in its previous two games, OU registered just 22 boards tonight (six offensive).

  • OU's 44 points were its fewest since losing 53-43 at Nebraska in 1997-98.

  • The Sooners posted .706 mark from the free throw line and have shot .700 or better in nine straight contests. They lead the Big 12 with a .746 season mark.

  • Nolan Johnson scored a team-high 12 points and was 6-for-7 from the free throw line. He has attempted at least six free throws in nine of the last 10 games and is shooting a Big 12-best .868 on the year.
