NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma women's soccer team saw its school-record four-game winning streak snapped Sunday in cold and windy conditions against Missouri, 1-0, in front of 367 fans at the OU Soccer Complex. Oklahoma fell to 6-4 on the season and 1-1 in the Big 12 while the Tigers improved to 6-4 and 2-0 in the conference.

The game's lone goal was tallied by the Tigers' Adriene Davis just 88 seconds into the second half. Davis took a pass from Nikki Thole and scored right in front of the net. The goal was Davis' fifth on the season.

Mizzou's goalkeeper Shannon Wagner recorded her second straight shutout while Jana Cunningham lost for the first time in five tries despite giving up only one goal and recording six saves.

"I really thought we had a chance to win today. I saw us make only a few mistakes but, unfortunately, there was one we weren't able to recover from," said Oklahoma Head Coach Randy Evans, referring to the Tigers' goal.

The Sooners hit the road next weekened for a pair of conference games against Texas Tech on Friday at 4 p.m. and Colorado on Sunday at 1 p.m. Oklahoma's next home game will be Friday, Oct. 6, against Baylor at 7 p.m. at the OU Soccer Complex. The facility is located at the corner of Chautauqua Ave. and Imhoff Rd in Norman.
