OU Men's Basketball Recruiting Class Rated Third Nationally

NORMAN, Okla. - National recruiting analyst Bill Hodge of FANSonly.com has rated the University of Oklahoma's men's basketball recruiting class as the nation's third best. The Sooners' seven-member class was rated the best among Big 12 schools.

Head coach Kelvin Sampson's recruiting efforts resulted in a class that was rated behind just Connecticut and Seton Hall. Other Big 12 schools rated in Hodge's top 15 include Oklahoma State (No. 4), Texas (No. 8), Missouri (No. 11) and Iowa State (No. 13).

Oklahoma has signed six frontcourt players and one backcourt player. Joining the Sooners next year will be forwards Johnnie Gilbert, Ronnie Griffin, Aaron McGhee, Daryan Selvy and James Wright, center Jozsef Szendrei and guard Blake Johnston.
