*Oklahoma won its second straight Sooner Invitational crown by downing La Salle, 89-72. It was the Sooners' fifth consecutive regular season tournament title.

*After missing OU's two exhibition games and last night's Sooner Invitational first-round affair due to a team suspension, junior guard J.R. Raymond scored 16 points in 29 minutes off the bench tonight.

*Sophomore guard Hollis Price, who recorded a career-high 10 assists last night, finished with seven tonight. The tournament's MVP recorded two-game totals of 22 points, 17 assists, seven steals and just three turnovers in 72 minutes.

*All seven of Rasual Butler's three-pointers came after halftime. The La Salle forward finished with a tournament-record 33 points.

*The Sooners owned a 38-22 advantage on the boards.

*Oklahoma plays next at the Big Island Invitational in Hilo, Hawaii, next Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Sooners open against Montana State Friday at 6:30 p.m. CST.
