Sophomore goalkeeper Jana Cunningham was acknowledged for the second time this week as she was named to Soccer America's Team of the Week for Oct. 9-15. On Monday, Cunningham was named Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week.

Cunningham garnered the honors following up her 16-save performance in an upset victory over then-No. 2 and previously undefeated Nebraska. A Tulsa native, she tied the school record for saves in a game.

Cunningham ranks third in the Big 12 in goals-against average (0.98) and in saves (91). She has recorded 4.5 shutouts on the season and, earlier this year, amassed a streak of 235:20 minutes without surrendering a goal, both school records.

The Sooners are 8-6-1 on the season and 3-3-1 in the Big 12. Oklahoma's next two games will be played at the OU Soccer Complex against Texas A&M (Friday at 7 p.m.) and Texas (Sunday at 1 p.m.).
