NORMAN, Okla. - The 15th-ranked Texas A&M volleyball team swept Oklahoma, 15-7, 15-6, 15-5, in a Big 12 Conference match Saturday night at the OU Field House in Norman. The victory moves the Aggies to 21-5 overall and 12-4 in the league, while OU drops to 8-18 and 3-13.
Sophomore Danielle Bookout landed eight kills on 14 total attempts while only committing two errors to produce a team high hitting percentage of .429. She also contributed three digs and tied a match-high of four blocks .
Junior Cathy Cook had a team-high nine kills, while senior Melissa Christman added eight.
"They are emotionally down," Pabst said. "We don't feel like they gave a very good effort. We never got started except 3-0 in the first game. We were dead tonight."
Texas A&M's Amber Woolsey paced the Aggies with a match-high 15 kills and four blocks.
As a team, Oklahoma hit .115 to TAMU's .392. The Aggies had the advantage in kills, 38-36, digs, 25-16, and blocks, 7-6.
