Mesi played softball at Dickinson State University from 2015–2019. She completed her undergraduate degree in 2020, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in coaching. Following graduation, Mesi remained at Dickinson State as a graduate assistant from 2020–2022 while completing her master’s degree in athletic administration. She then served as an assistant coach at Dickinson State from 2022–2024, gaining experience in team operations and the daily demands of collegiate athletics.
During her time as an assistant coach, Mesi developed an interest in the behind-the-scenes work that supports competition and began pursuing opportunities in athletics grounds. She gained hands-on experience through multiple grounds internships at the Minor League Baseball level with the Oklahoma City Dodgers (Los Angeles Dodgers Triple-A affiliate), as well as two weeks working on the grounds crew at the Women’s College World Series in 2022 and 2023.
Mesi is known for her strong work ethic, blue-collar mentality and commitment to treating people well. She values consistency, accountability and attention to detail, principles that align with the championship culture of Oklahoma Softball.
A native of Anaheim, California, Mesi enjoys spending time away from work with her family and closest friends. She loves traveling, watching the Sooners compete on the road, and making time to be back in Dickinson with family. Some of her favorite moments are spent with her nieces, Aubrey and Molly.Â
