Rashard Odomes

Rashard Odomes joined the Oklahoma men's basketball staff as a grad assistant prior to the 2025-26 season, returning to his alma mater after a six-year professional playing career overseas. In his role, he assists with practice planning, player development and daily operations while contributing to film breakdown and scouting preparation, while also working directly with players during on-court instruction and live practice drills.
Odomes was a four-year contributor at Oklahoma from 2015-19 under Hall of Fame head coach Lon Kruger. A two-way guard known for his defensive intensity and team-first mentality, he appeared in 113 games with 70 starts and helped the Sooners make three NCAA Tournament appearances, including a run to the 2016 Final Four. He also represented the Big 12 at the 2019 3x3 National Tournament and was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team selection (2018, 2019).
Following his collegiate career, Odomes played professionally from 2019-25, competing in leagues in Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Israel, the Czech Republic and Romania. His international experience included playing in six countries and gaining experience with a variety of basketball systems and coaching philosophies. He also competed in four editions of The Basketball Tournament from 2019-23.
Odomes has extensive experience working with youth athletes, serving as a coach and staff member at Oklahoma men's basketball camps and additional basketball camps, including the Trae Young and Royce O'Neale basketball camps.
A native of Copperas Cove, Texas, Odomes earned a bachelor's degree in human relations from Oklahoma in 2019.Â
