Maria Pergouli serves as the Rowing Assistant Coach for Oklahoma Athletics.
 
In this role, she coaches the varsity team, recruits international athletes and assists in the completion of administrative tasks.
 
She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma in sociology with a minor in general business, and earned her Master’s degree from OU in human relations.
 
Outside of work, she enjoys working out, especially running, and going for evening walks. She also enjoys trying a new breakfast or brunch place every weekend. Prior to college, she won a bronze medal at the U23 World Rowing Championships, a gold and silver medal at the World Rowing Coastal Championships and was on the Pre-Olympic Hellenic Team from 2015-2016.
