Kendra Tahsequah joined Oklahoma Atheltics in the fall of 2022 and serves as a Senior Athletics Academic Advisor.

In this role, she advises softball and rowing student-athletes, monitors academic progress & graduation plans, and monitors eligibility. She also assists with scheduling of courses and communication with coaches about academic progress of student-athletes.

Prior to Oklahoma Athletics, she served as an Academic Advising Specialist for the University of Oklahoma’s Academic Advising Resource Center from January 2015 to September 2022. In that role, she advised sophomore and junior students with major exploration, processed admission referrals for transfer and readmitted students and represented OU and the AARC at regional & national conferences.

She earned her bachelors degree in Native American studies from the University of Oklahoma, and earned her master’s degree in education, administration, curriculum & supervision from OU.

Tahsequah is a proud member of the Comanche Nation and a first-generation college graduate. Outside of work, she enjoys being outside with her family riding bikes and watching her children’s sports.
