AS A REDSHIRT SENIOR (2016-17):
Finished his senior season with a 8-10 record (6-7 duals) in the OU lineup … Entered the lineup on Jan. 8 against Missouri … Competed the majority of the season at 174 pounds, but bumped up to 184 against Northern Iowa … Qualified for his third consecutive NCAA Championships … Competed unattached at Joe Parisi Open (4-1) and Bob Smith Open (0-1).

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2015-16):
Wrestled at 174 pounds … Finished his redshirt junior campaign with a 20-10 record, including a 12-3 mark in dual competition … Went 2-2 at his second consecutive NCAA Championships appearance … Topped No. 3-seed Blaise Butler of Mizzou by 16-9 decision in his opening match of NCAAs ... Placed third at the 2016 Big 12 Championship, helping the Sooners to a second-place finish as a team … Named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team … Posted five wins by fall on the season … Topped three ranked opponents on the season.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2014-15):
Named an at-large selection at 174 pounds to the 2015 NCAA Championships … Went 1-2 in his first NCAA appearance … Finished with a 27-13 overall record, including an 11-5 mark in dual competition … Claimed third place at Big 12 Championship ... Broke into the Intermat rankings on Jan. 20 at No. 20 … Ranked as high as No. 16 … Faced nine ranked opponents, defeating four of them … Finished second at inaugural Aloha Open … Took third at Brockport/Oklahoma Invitational, helping the Sooners to their 16th straight title at the event … Placed fifth at Reno Tournament of Champions as OU claimed fifth as a team … Finished as runner-up at OCU Open … Recorded six major decisions, two technical falls and five falls on the season.

Redshirt year … Went 13-1 competing in open tournaments at 174 pounds, with only loss coming in his first match of the season … Won Bethany Swede Open and Mustang Open … Took third at OCU Open … Tallied three decisions, one major decision, two technical falls and six falls on the season.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13):
Wrestled up at 184 pounds at his first-ever Big 12 Championship to finish fourth in the weight class after he fell to Oklahoma State's No. 10 Chris Chionuma (11-1 major decision) and WVU's Lance Bryson (5-1 decision)...Completed the final two duals of the regular season at 184 pounds with a 1-1 record after he fell 14-5 to Iowa State's No. 20 Tanner Weatherman and topped WVU's Lance Bryson with a 4-3 decision...Has totaled three pins in dual competition...Went 2-1 at the 2012 Journeymen/Northeast Duals with wins over Hofstra's John and Cornell's Pickett...Ended the Brockport/Oklahoma Invitational with a 3-1 record after totaling two major decisions to Army's Ryan Tompkins (13-5) and Buffalo's Jeff Palmeri (12-1) and adding a 6-2 decision over Army's Matthew Pennings.

PRIOR TO OU:
Only lost two matches in the last three years of wrestling...Qualified for the Kansas state championship meet as a freshman...Finished third at the 6A State Championships at 171 pounds in 2010 as a sophomore with a 34-2 record...As a junior, inked an undefeated 35-0 record in 2011, and capped his campaign with a win at the 6A Kansas state championships at 160 pounds...Finished his senior campaign at Wichita Heights with another undefeated record at 30-0 and claimed his second consecutive state championship title after he claimed the 6A 170 pound throne...Won the 2012 the National Seniors Classic.
