Ashley Kerr enters her ninth season in 2025 as an assistant coach, assisting primarily on beam.
 
Alongside head coach K.J. Kindler, Kerr has guided the beam team to a top three ranking in the nation each of the past eight years, including back-to-back finishes at No. 1 in 2018 and 2019 & 2024 and 2025. Over the past eight seasons, Kerr was a part of six NCAA finals teams, including four national championships, seven NCAA regional championships teams, and six conference championship teams. Kerr has helped coach athletes to 20 NCAA All-America honors on beam since her arrival in 2018. 
 
In 2025, she helped lead Faith Torrez to an SEC individual championship on beam, the first individual SEC title by a Sooner. She also guided Torrez to her first career perfect 10 on the event, leading to an NCAA regional title. Torrez finished third in the nation on the event and earned a third place podium finish at the NCAA Championships.
 
In 2024, she helped guide Audrey Davis and Faith Torrez to OU’s first individual national titles on balance beam since 2014. She also led Ragan Smith to a program-record four consecutive perfect scores on balance beam and six overall during the 2024 campaign. Kerr assisted Smith to a second-straight Big 12 Championship on beam with a 10.0.
 
Kerr competed for the Florida Gators from 2007-2010 and was a four-time member of the NCAA Scholastic All-America team, as well as the SEC Academic Honor Roll. She served as the president of UF’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and was awarded the 2010 Outstanding Leadership Award by the UF Alumni Association.
          
Upon graduation, Kerr was named Florida’s volunteer student manager for the 2011 season, before serving as the team manager from 2011-2013. Most recently, Kerr was the assistant to the head coach at Florida, supporting multiple aspects of the program. Kerr worked with the coaching staff on all on-campus recruiting visits, coordinated team social media activity, and helped with community outreach. She helped plan and organize team travel and assisted the head coach at all team competitions, while working with the marketing department on promotional plans to increase fan interest and attendance. Additionally, she assisted with the planning and execution of summer camps.
 
In her time at Florida, Kerr worked with three national champion teams, as the Gators won three straight titles from 2013-15. Kerr was a part of 10 Super Six teams and five SEC Championship teams during her time as both a gymnast and a staff member.
 
Kerr graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with an emphasis in marketing and minors in mass communication and leadership. She attended grad school at UF, where she earned a Master of Science in sports management and a Master of Arts in telecommunications. Kerr is married to Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault with whom she has two children.
