The 2014 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year while at Florida State, Lacey Waldrop is in her first season as a graduate student manager at Oklahoma.

Waldrop for the Seminoles from 2012-15 and was a three-time All-American, three-time All-ACC First Team honoree and was twice named the ACC Pitcher of the Year. She was chosen No. 3 overall in the 2015 NPF Draft by the Chicago Bandits, for whom she has played the past two seasons.

Senior Season (2015):
Finished with a 28-7 record, 1.52 ERA with 232 strikeouts in 211.1 innings…she allowed 64 runs (46 earned), 123 hits and 86 walks as teams batted .163 against her…became the third Seminole in history to earn three NFCA All-America accolades in a career as she was named to the Third Team…named the 2015 Senior CLASS Award winner, given to a student-athlete that excels in the areas of the classroom, character, community and competition…drafted in the first round by the Chicago Bandits with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2015 National Pro Fastpitch Draft…earned All-ACC First Team and ACC Pitcher of the Year honors for the second-straight season…became Florida State’s career wins leader on May 3 as she recorded her 108th victory in a 15-1 win at North Florida…finished her career in the FSU all-time top five of four different categories – wins (109 – 1st), appearances (170 – 2nd), strikeouts (917 – 3rd) and saves (7 – 4th)…named ACC Pitcher of the Week four times in 2015 – February 9, March 2, March 9 and April 20

Junior Season (2014):
Became the first Seminole since Jessica van der Linden in 2004 to be named the USA Softball National Player of the Year…earned NFCA First Team All-America and ACC Pitcher of the Year honors…seven-time ACC Pitcher of the Week (2/10, 2/24, 3/3, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31 and 4/7) to set a new conference record…NFCA National Player of the Week on March 4…established a new FSU single-season record and led the NCAA with 38 wins…ranked in the top 25 nationally in ERA (1.13 – 3rd), strikeouts (287 – 12th) and shutouts (8 – 25th)…allowed more than one earned run in only 10 of her 48 appearances on the season…finished with 80 walks, 70 runs, 43 earned runs and 190 hits over 266.1 innings…allowed a batting average of .193 which was the lowest in the ACC… had a 0.90 ERA against ACC opponents with 106 strikeouts in 101.2 innings pitched…recorded eight wins, a 2.02 ERA, 70 strikeouts and allowed a .251 batting average against ranked teams during the season…won 16 straight decisions from March 2 to April 5

Sophomore Season (2013):
Became the first All-American at Florida State since 2009 when she earned NFCA Third Team honors at the end of the season...became the 26th All-American in Florida State softball history...anmed to the NFCA All-Southeast Region Second Team...All-ACC First Team selection...earned ACC Pitcher of the Week three times...finished 24-10 with a 1.53 ERA...generated 259 strikeouts in 219.1 innings pitched...threw 17 complete games, five shutouts and allowed just six home runs...opponents hit just .191 against her...finished 16th nationally in ERA...31st in strikeouts per seven innings...31st in victories...43rd in hits allowed per seven innings...26th in strikeouts...was first in the ACC in ERA and opposing batting average...also top five in innings pitched, strikeouts, wins, saves, appearances, games started and hits allowed

Freshman Season (2012):
Finished 19-5 with a team-best 1.33 ERA...also led one of the nation’s top pitching staffs with six shutouts...held the opposition to a .179 batting average and allowed just 21 extra base hits in 162.2 innings pitched on the season...named to the All-ACC Second Team, becoming just the third freshman pitcher in school history to garner an All-ACC accolade...led the conference in earned run average...second in opposing batting average...second with 31 earned runs allowed...fourth with two saves...sixth in wins...sixth with 107 hits allowed...eighth in innings pitched...eighth with 139 strikeouts...named the co-rookie of the year at the team banquet...twice earned ACC Pitcher of the Week honors...earned her second conference pitcher of the week award after going 2-0 with 20 strikeouts in 18.2 innings against Troy and Boston College...won her first ACC Pitcher of the Week honor after going 4-0 in four appearances against Jacksonville, Florida A&M and Virginia, allowing just two earned runs in 21 innings pitched

First-team all-state selection as a senior at Thomas Dale High School...metro and district pitcher of the year in her last season...first-team all-district, all-metro and all-region as a junior...district pitcher of the year and second-team all-state selection in junior season...district, region and metro pitcher of the year in sophomore campaign...second-team all-state pick as well as first-team all-district, all-metro and all-region selection in second year...as a freshman, was named first-team all-district, all-region and all-metro...second-team all-state and all-district...picked up metro pitcher of the year honors as a freshman...Gatorade Player of the Year nominee following superb senior season...Richmond Times-Dispatch Player of the Week…was a member of a community service club called the Keyettes as well as the Ecology Club.
