2022: Earned Freshman All-America honors from Baseball America and D1Baseball ... made 14 appearances and 11 starts on the mound and made made 25 starts at third base, four at shortstop and 11 as designated hitter ... went 5-2 with a 4.86 ERA and registered 64 strikeouts and only 15 walks over 53.2 innings ... batted .234 with six doubles, two triples, a home run, 17 RBIs and 28 runs scored in 145 at bats ... was also 8 for 9 in stolen bases ... made his collegiate pitching debut on March 29 against Oklahoma State, throwing one relief inning and earning the victory in OU’s 7-6 win at ONEOK Field in Tulsa ... first start on the mound came on April 14 against Pacific, striking out two batters and allowing one hit and two walks over 4.0 scoreless innings ... in five postseason starts, beginning with the Big 12 Championship game win over Texas (5/29), went 3-0 with a 2.61 ERA and notched 49 strikeouts against six walks in 31.0 innings, never allowing more than two runs or two walks in an outing ... in College World Series starts against Notre Dame (6/19) and Ole Miss (6/26), he pitched 13.1 innings, striking out 24 batters and allowing four runs on nine hits and one walk ... named to the CWS All-Tournament Team ... best performance of the season was in the MCWS Finals where he registered career highs of 13 strikeouts and 7.1 innings vs. Ole Miss ... in the Big 12 Championship game vs. Texas, he struck out nine over 5.1 innings, allowing only one run on two hits and two walks ... in the NCAA Regional vs. Florida (6/5), struck out eight and walked one over 6.1 innings ... helped send OU to the MCWS with a Super Regional performance in which he struck out eight batters over 6.0 innings and allowed two runs on two hits and two walks at Virginia Tech (6/12) ... punched out 11 over 6.0 frames vs. Notre Dame in the MCWS ... allowed only one run on six hits in 4.2 innings at TCU (5/8).

High School: Attended Norman High School … rated as the No. 2 player in Oklahoma by Perfect Game and Prep Baseball Report and the No. 14 player nationally by Prep Baseball Report and No. 34 by Perfect Game... a 2019 Perfect Game All-American, he participated in the 2019 Area Code Games and the MLB Prospect Development Pipeline... competed in the Major League Baseball High School All Star Game last summer in Cleveland, Ohio.
