	Aldwyn Sappleton finished second in the 800 at the Jamaican Nationals over the weekend.

NORMAN, Okla. - Current and former Sooner student-athletes had solid performances in their home country national championships over the weekend.

At the Jamaican National Championships, former Sooner Michael Blackwood won the 400-meter dash with a personal best of 44.64. Another former Sooner, Danny McFarlane, finished fifth in the 400. Raoul Harvey, who completed his eligibility in May, qualified for the semifinals in the 400 but had to pull out because of an injury.
