BROOKWOOD, Ala. - The University of Oklahoma women's golf team placed sixth at the Alabama Capstone Intercollegiate in Brookwood, Alabama. The Sooners finished 34 strokes off tournament-champion Tennessee on the 72-par, 6,128-yard Capstone Club golf course.

Sophomore Lisa Meldrum carded a 76 in the final round for a seventh-place finish, while junior Allison Johnson finished in 11th place with a score of 239. Senior Wendy Martin shot a 253 for 42nd place and Sophomore Hope Edge finished in 59th place with a score of 259. Freshman Emily Milberger placed 72nd with a score of 265.
