Four Sooners Named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Agbayani, Berzon, Garcia and Lowry Earn Honor
NORMAN — Oklahoma Softball's Ailana Agbayani, Sydney Berzon, Gabbie Garcia and Audrey Lowry were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team as announced Tuesday, May 26.
The 206 CSC Academic All-District teams honor the country's top student-athletes for their combined work on the diamond and in the classroom. CSC, formerly known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), will announce All-American honorees June 16.
Honorees must be a sophomore or above in both academic and athletic standing while possessing at least a 3.50 grade point average. On the field, student-athletes must have played in at least 90 percent of games or started in 66 percent of contests. Pitchers will have needed to make 17 appearances or pitch in 35 innings upon the date of nomination.
The Sooners have had 46 CSC Academic All-District honorees all time and 22 CSC Academic All-Americans under head coach Patty Gasso.
