2026 (Senior): USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Top 50 Watch List ... signed by the Texas Volts June 11, 2026 ... ranked No. 52 in the Softball America Top 100 rankings ahead of the season ... 6-2 with a 2.63 ERA in 25 appearances and 10 starts ... spun five scoreless against Texas A&M May 2, earning the win ... earned her first win in league play April 4 with four hitless innings against Kentucky ... worked 61.1 innings, fanning 36 while holding hitters to a .240 batting average ... earned the SEC Regular Season Championship clinching win with five innings of work, fanning five while only allowing two hits May 2 at #12/14 Texas A&M.
JUNIOR SEASON (2025)
Became a three-time NFCA All-Region First Team and All-SEC selectionā¦turned in the best start in program history with a 13-0 record in the circleā¦finished the season 18-8 with a 2.46 ERA behind 104 strikeouts in 139.1 innings pitchedā¦made 22 starts and appeared in 30 games, where she recorded 19 complete games, six shutouts and two savesā¦held opposing batters to a .228 averageā¦recorded a season-high nine strikeouts twice, once against South Alabama (March 7) and against Virginia Tech (Feb. 16).
Ended her career at LSU with a 52-25 record with a 2.02 ERA with 416 strikeouts in 486.1 innings. Berzon recorded 13 shutouts and ranks No. 3 all-time with nine savesā¦in program history, Berzon ranks No. 9 all-time with 100 appearances and 50 complete games and ranks No. 6 with the fewest walks allowed at 130 and No. 7 with the fewest home runs allowed at 28 with a minimum of 250 innings pitched.
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2024)
Named an NFCA All-American for the second consecutive seasonā¦Also tabbed to the NFCA South All-Region First Team, the All-SEC First Team and SEC All-Tournament Team⦠Had 22 starts and 40 appearances in the circle⦠Posted a 20-9 record with a 1.78 ERA behind 185 strikeouts, which ranked No. 5 in the SEC, in 204.0 innings pitched⦠Threw 20 complete games, including three shutouts⦠Registered four saves, which ties at No. 4 in the programās single-season record book, and will enter 2025 ranked No. 5 all-time with seven career savesā¦Held opponents to a .224 averageā¦. Dealt a career-high 13 strikeouts versus Boise State (Feb. 22)ā¦Set a SEC Tournament record tossing 14.0 innings on 208 pitches in the 2-1 win over No. 20 Alabama (May 8) where she also had a career-high six assists.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2023)
Became the programās first NFCA All-American freshman pitcher since 2015ā¦Made the NFCA South All-Region First Team, the All-SEC Second Team and was named to the NFCA DI National Freshman of the Year Top 25 list ā¦In 143.0 innings pitched (No. 9 in SEC), registered a 14-8 record behind a 1.91 ERA with a staff-best 127 strikeouts (No. 10 in SEC) in 30 appearances and 17 startsā¦Her 127 strikeouts is the sixth most for a freshman at LSU in program historyā¦Also tossed 11 complete games, four shutouts and three savesā¦held opposing batters to a .209 batting averageā¦Had a season-high 10 strikeouts at Ole Miss (March 25)ā¦Won two SEC Freshman of the Week Awards; first was on Feb. 20 after a 2-0 weekend where she logged a 0.68 ERA in 10.1 innings with nine strikeouts in three appearances, second was on March 28 after going 2-0 at Ole Miss with back-to-back complete-game efforts (14.0 innings) where she had a 0.50 ERA with 13 strikeouts, and held opposing batters to a .170 average after relinquishing just eight hits, three walks and one run.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Baylor High School where she became a two-time All-American and Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Yearā¦helped her team win two state championship titles as a junior and a freshman⦠As a junior, Berzon pitched 77 innings and posted a perfect 17-0 record with 179 strikeouts and a 0.47 ERAā¦She also batted .389 and compiled 28 RBIs and five home runs that season⦠was a three-time member of the National Honorās Societyā¦played club ball for Fury Platinum organization ran by former LSU softball player Jill Crawford Higdon⦠during Berzonās tenure, Fury has won seven tournaments, including back-to-back Eastern Elite titles (2019-20)ā¦Berzon is the No. 11 recruit in the nation according to Softball America and is ranked T-17 by Extra Inning Softball.

Born Nov. 24, 2003ā¦daughter of Michael and Hilary Berzonā¦has an older brother named Zachary who was on Hobart and William Smith College Rowing team (2018-2022) ā¦plans to major in Environmental Science and Research.
