Sooners Host Auburn, Kentucky, Arkansas and Georgia

NORMAN — The Southeastern Conference (SEC) announced Oklahoma Softball's 24-game conference schedule for the 2026 season Wednesday, Sept. 10.

The reigning SEC Regular Season and Tournament Champion Oklahoma Sooners will play a 24-game SEC schedule, featuring eight series.

The Sooners will have a bye during the opening week of SEC play before hosting Auburn March 13-15 at Love's Field. The Sooners will host the Tigers in Norman for the first time since 2011 in a head-to-head series that includes games in the Women's College World Series (WCWS) and NCAA Super Regionals. OU defeated Auburn in three games to win the 2016 World Series, while eliminating the Tigers in the super regionals the following season.

OU plays its first SEC road games at Ole Miss March 20-22, marking the first time the Sooners take a visit to Oxford, Miss. OU paces the all-time series, 6-0. The Rebels advanced to the 2025 WCWS for the program's first visit to the WCWS. OU sophomore pitcher Miali Guachino earned D1Softball Freshman All-American honors in 2025 before transferring to OU this past summer.

Oklahoma's only back-to-back road series concludes the following weekend at LSU. The Sooners defeated LSU, 3-0, in Baton Rouge in 2023 in OU's last trip to Louisiana State. The Sooners and Tigers have also met in the WCWS, with OU winning, 7-3, in 2016. Senior pitcher Sydney Berzon earned All-American honors twice with the Tigers before transferring to OU this past summer.

The hosts of the 2026 SEC Softball Tournament, Kentucky, head to Love's Field April 3-5. The Wildcats made a trip to Norman in 2023, with OU winning, 18-0 and 7-1.

The second half of conference play starts with OU visiting Texas April 10-12. The Sooners took three out of four games against Texas last year, sweeping a home series while dropping a 4-2 decision in the WCWS.

The Sooners swept Arkansas in Fayetteville last season while this year the Razorbacks head to Love's Field April 17-19. Arkansas hosted a super regional in 2025, falling in three games to Ole Miss. OU and Arkansas have met 16 times in Norman.

Georgia plays in Norman for the first time April 24-26 as OU wraps up its home slate for the regular season. The Sooners are 4-4 against Georgia, the last meeting being an 8-0 six-inning win for OU against the Bulldogs in the 2021 WCWS.

After having the 2025 SEC Championship game rained out last year, OU and Texas A&M get a chance to meet April 30-May 2 in College Station. The Aggies earned the number-one overall seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament before being eliminated by Liberty. The Sooners are 53-30 all-time against Texas A&M.

A complete 2026 schedule, times, along with TV designations and single-game tickets will be released at a later date.

OU went 18-6 in the SEC, finishing first in the conference before earning a share of the tournament title with wins against LSU and Arkansas in the conference tournament. Oklahoma returns 13 players from last year's WCWS team, including 2025 All-Americans Ella Parker, Kasidi Pickering and Gabbie Garcia. OU's newcomers feature pitchers Berzon and Guachino as well as the number one recruiting class in the 2025 signing period.

All eight of OU's SEC opponents played in last year's NCAA Tournament, with two of them advancing to the WCWS.
