PENSACOLA, Fla. — Goalkeeper
Caroline Duffy had one of the best performances of her OU career, making 10 saves, but Mississippi State's (11-5-1, 5-4-1 SEC) final shot attempt of the night was the lone to go in as the Sooners (10-5-4, 3-4-3 SEC) dropped a 1-0 decision to the Bulldogs in the first round of the 2025 SEC Tournament.
Mississippi State scored the winner in the 89th minute after 88 minutes of scoreless ball.

Duffy withstood Mississippi State's early attack, tallying four saves in the opening frame as the Sooners put up four shots and three on goal on the other end.
Kayla Keefer broke free and had a short look at an open goal, but Mississippi State keeper Jenny Harrison saved the well-struck shot to keep it 0-0. Duffy made a series of saves, collecting six in the second half before Tatum Borman's strike from the top of the box went bar-down and in in the 89th minute.
