Pack leads the team with his 18.8 points per game while Xzayvier Brown ranks second with his 17.0 average and Tae Davis ranks third (13.0). OU's other two starters — forward Derrion Reid (9.6 ppg) and Mohamed Wague (9.2) are close behind.

• OU is the one of only three SEC teams (Alabama and Florida) with two players (Brown and Pack) who each average at least 17.0 points per game.

• Coming into the season, Davis's individual career high for rebounds in a game was 10, but the senior ranks seventh in the SEC this year by averaging 8.2 rebounds per contest and ranks second in the league and ranks ninth nationally with his 4.4 offensive caroms per outing. He had 11 offensive boards three games ago against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Oklahoma's most in a contest since at least the 1995-96 season.

• Wague's two highest career point totals have come this season (16 in the opener vs. Saint Francis and 20 last game vs. Oral Roberts).

• OU ranked 321st last season with its 2.3 blocked shots per game, but through five games this year is averaging 4.2.

• Wague tied his career high with three blocked shots in each of the first two games. He ranks sixth in the SEC with his 1.6 rejections per contest.

• OU ranked fourth nationally last season with its school-record .795 free throw figure and has been almost as good so far in 2025-26. The Sooners rank third in the SEC and 28th in the country with their .788 season mark. Brown and Reid (.941; 16 for 17 each) are tied for third in the league.

LEADER OF THE PACK

• Pack ranks among the nation's active career leaders in multiple categories. Through Friday, he is second in career 3-pointers (334), fifth in points (1,839), 26th in assists (378) and 46th in steals (131).

• In his sixth collegiate year, Pack spent his first two seasons at Kansas State (he was a first-team All-Big 12 selection as a sophomore when he averaged 17.4 points and made 95 3-pointers and shot a league-high .436 from behind the arc) and the last three at Miami, Fla. (he helped the Hurricanes to their first Final Four his junior season and was named the Midwest Region Most Outstanding Player). He has started 126 of his 127 career games and owns a 14.5 career scoring average.

WHAT CAN BROWN DO FOR YOU?

• Junior guard Xzayvier Brown has not wasted any time adapting to his new surroundings, as the first-year Sooner is averaging 17.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and team-highs of 3.6 assists and 2.2 steals per outing. He has scored at least 16 points in all but one game and is shooting .536 from the field, .375 from 3-point distance (9 for 24) and .941 from the free throw line (16 for 17).

• Brown's 20-point effort against Nebraska two games ago marked the 22nd of his career. He has reached double figures in points in 37 of his last 38 games and has scored in double figures 60 times.

The consensus four-star recruit is ranked the No. 1 player in Alabama by all three outlets and the country's No. 12 small forward by 247Sports.
