Clifton Named to SEC Community Service Team

NORMAN — OU women's soccer senior defender Cassie Clifton was announced as Oklahoma Soccer's 2025 Southeastern Conference Community Service Team representative as announced by the league Thursday, Oct. 23. 

Clifton has volunteered her time at Cleveland Elementary School, offering her time with the school and physical education classes. She has also partnered with a local youth soccer team, Celtic Recreational League, while hosting soccer clinics in the greater Oklahoma City area. Clifton is also a SAAC member and team captain.

On the pitch Clifton has appeared in 70 matches, starting 60 while logging over 5,200 minutes. She was a 2024 SEC Academic Honor Roll recipient and earned a spot on the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. 

The Community Service Team recognizes a student-athlete from each school for each respective SEC sponsored sport who has given back to their community in a superior way.
