NORMAN – Oklahoma senior forward
Skylar Vann was named an honorable mention AP All-American on Wednesday afternoon.
Vann, the Big 12 Co-Player of the Year, is the third Sooner in three years to earn All-America honors under head coach
Jennie Baranczyk. Oklahoma's three-year streak with an All-America honoree is its longest since it produced an All-American every year from 2005 to 11.

Vann posted 15.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in the regular season and was one of five Power Five players to average 14.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, joining Caitlin Clark (Iowa), JuJu Watkins (USC), Cameron Brink (Stanford) and Grace VanSlooten (Oregon).
The All-America honor is the first for Vann, who has guided Oklahoma to its third straight NCAA Tournament and the program's second straight Big 12 championship. She became the 39th Sooner to eclipse 1,000 career points earlier this season and is the 14th Sooner ever to score 1,300 points and collect 700 rebounds in a career.
