NORMAN – Coming off a weekend that saw a pair of perfect scores, junior Jordan Bowers and sophomore Ava Siegfeldt were named the Big 12 Co-Gymnast and Event Specialist of the Week, respectively. This is the fourth weekly honor for Bowers this season, and 15th of her career, and the second career honor for Siegfeldt. Bowers shared the honor with Denver's Jessica Hutchinson.

The duo, who each earned a perfect 10.0 on Sunday, helped lead the Sooners to a 198.350-197.275 victory over No. 12 Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Bowers had a strong day on Sunday, recording her sixth mark of 39.700-plus in the all-around with a 39.725 to take home the all-around title. Not only did she take home the all-around title, Bowers earned the floor title with her second perfect 10 of the season. Bowers earned her second career perfect score on the event, bringing her total to five career perfect scores. She is now ranked fourth on floor and third in the all-around nationally.

Bowers recorded four scores of 9.9 or higher for just the fourth time this season as she added a 9.9 on vault, a 9.9 on bars and a 9.925 on beam. All four of her scores counted toward the teams seventh-consecutive score of 198-plus, the only program in NCAA history to record a streak of seven in a row. Bowers has now won 24 event titles this season, including six all-around titles and nine floor titles - including five straight.

Siegfeldt had a day to remember as she became just the eighth NCAA gymnast this season to earn a perfect 10.0 on balance beam as she earned her first career perfect score on any event Sunday afternoon. Siegfeldt had only competed three times prior to Sunday's meet and had not competed since January 22, 2023 (413 days). Despite not being in the lineup all season, she came in clutch for the Sooners, becoming the second OU athlete this season to earn a 10.0 on beam and the third OU athlete on any event to earn a perfect score.

Siegfeldt also made her collegiate vault debut, being inserted into the lineup on moment's notice to compete her Yurchenko 1.5 in the anchor spot, earning a career best 9.9.

The Sooners will be back in action inside Lloyd Noble Center on Sunday, March 17, for a matchup against No. 7 Alabama. The meet is scheduled for a 2:45 p.m. CT start on ESPN2.
