FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Sophomore
Ava Siegfeldt earned her first career perfect 10 and
Jordan Bowers recorded her fifth career perfect score as the Sooners defeated No. 12 Arkansas 198.350-197.275 Sunday afternoon in Bud Walton Arena.
The Sooners have now posted seven-consecutive scores of 198-plus, the first school in NCAA history to achieve the feat.
Siegfeldt earned her first career perfect 10 in the No. 2 spot on beam, becoming the second Sooner this season to earn a 10.0 on the apparatus (
Ragan Smith). Siegfeldt's 10 was the fifth-straight perfect mark on beam by a Sooner after Smith tallied four-straight before today's meet.
Bowers earned her second perfect score of the year and first on floor this season in the third rotation. The junior now has five career perfect marks, including two on floor. Bowers also received a 10.0 on bars on Feb. 2.
The Sooners won a share of every event title on the night. Bowers took home the all-around title with a 39.725 and floor with her perfect score. Siegfeldt took home the beam title, the first of her career.
Audrey Davis won the uneven bars title with a near-perfect 9.975 and
Hannah Scheible won vault with a 9.925.
Starting on bars, the Sooners used a 49.600 to Arkansas 49.350 on vault to take the lead after the first rotation. The Sooners stuck five of six dismounts for their fifth-best score of the season on the event.
Danielle Sievers started things off with a stuck dismount for a 9.9. In the No. 2 spot,
Katherine LeVasseur nailed her handstands and stuck the landing for a 9.925.
Faith Torrez stuck her double layout for a 9.875, followed by a stuck landing from Smith for a 9.9. Davis was nearly perfect in the No. 5 spot, showing off her impressive handstands and a stuck dismount for a 9.975. Anchoring was Bowers with a 9.9 of her own.
A 49.525 on vault extended the Sooners lead to 99.125-98.375 at the halfway point. Torrez led off with a 9.825, followed by a 9.9 from Wells on her Yurchenko 1.5. Bowers added her second 9.9 of the day on vault and LeVasseur notched a 9.9 of her own. In the No. 5 spot, Scheible showcased her unique handspring pike half for a 9.925. Siegfeldt made her vault debut, earning a 9.9 on her Yurchenko 1.5.
In the third rotation, the Sooners posted a 49.625 on floor. Davis tied her career high with a 9.925 to get the rotation started.
Bell Johnson added a 9.8 in the No. 2 spot. Smith stuck her big double back opening pass for a 9.9 in the No. 3 spot. LeVasseur showed off a big full-in and fun choreography for a 9.875. Torrez dazzled with her big double layout, earning a 9.925. Bowers anchored with a sky-high double pike for her second career perfect 10 on the event.
OU closed out the meet with a 49.600 on beam. Davis notched her third score of 9.9 or higher with a 9.925 in the leadoff spot, sticking her dismount and showing off her gorgeous flexibility. In the No. 2 spot, and in her first beam routine in over a year, Siegfeldt earned a 10.0. Bowers added a 9.925 in the No. 4 spot, followed by a 9.85 from Torrez. LeVasseur was stunning as always in the No. 5 spot, adding a 9.9. Anchoring was Smith with a 9.85.

The Sooners will return home to Lloyd Noble Center for the final dual of the regular season Sunday, March 17, to host Alabama. The meet is set for a 3 p.m. CT start time on ESPN2.
