Big 12 leader No. 23 Oklahoma (17-6, 11-1 Big 12) will look to take another big step toward defending its regular season conference championship on Wednesday at 6 p.m. when it hosts No. 21 Baylor (18-5, 7-5 Big 12) at Lloyd Noble Center in the program's annual Pink Game.
The contest marks OU's seventh vs. a top-25 opponent this season, and the Sooners are 3-3 in their previous six ranked battles.

- The Sooners tapped in at No. 23 in the AP Top and returned to the WBCA Coaches Poll at No. 25 this week. The Sooners checked in at No. 34 in the latest NET ranking and are tabbed as an 7 seed in the latest bracketology.
- A win would mark Oklahoma's ninth consecutive win, which would be tied with a streak in 2021-22 for the longest winning streak of the Baranczyk era.
- OU has been one of the hottest teams in the nation since the calendar turned over to 2024. Since entering conference play, Oklahoma has won 11 of its 12 games, including eight straight dating back to Jan. 10. The Sooners hold a one-game lead over Kansas State in the Big 12 standings with six games to play in the conference slate.
- Since the Big 12 was launched in 1996, OU has been a stalwart of the league's women's basketball contingent. Oklahoma has won 11 Big 12 championships, reaching the NCAA Tournament 21 times since 1996, tied for second most in the league. All-time, Oklahoma has posted a 362-266 record vs. Big 12 teams.
- Skylar Vann has starred for the Sooners this season. The Big 12's only two-time Big 12 Sixth Player of the Year (2022 and 2023), Vann was named to the Cheryl Miller Award preseason watch list, awarded annually to the nation's best small forward. In her new role, the Edmond, Okla., product is averaging a career highs in points (15.7) and rebounds (6.9).
SERIES HISTORY
Wednesday marks the 65th meeting between Oklahoma and the Bears. It also serves as the final regular season contest between the two as conference foes. BU leads the all-time series 35-29, including a 16-12 mark over the Sooners in Norman. Since Baranczyk and Collen started (2021-22), OU has won three of the five matchups.
LAST TIME OUT
Payton Verhulst scored 25 points as the Sooners handled business on the road Saturday, defeating Iowa State at Hilton Coliseum, 86-72, to remain atop the Big 12 standings.
The Sooners (17-6, 11-1 Big 12) have now won eight straight games and 11 of their last 12, and are a game up on Kansas State in the league standings with six games to play. The win was OU's first at Iowa State (13-9, 7-5 Big 12) since 2017 and just the 14th in program history.
