Sooners Continue Fall Slate with Jim West Challenge

NORMAN – Oklahoma women's golf will travel to San Marcos, Texas for the Jim West Challenge at Kissing Tree Golf Club on Oct. 20-21.

Senior Reagan Chaney, freshman Audrey Rischer, sophomore Gracie Mayo, junior Isabelle Schlick, and junior Savannah Barber will make up the lineup for OU. Junior MaKayla Tyrrell will compete as an individual.

LAST TIME OUT
The Sooners placed third (43-over, 895) out of the 16-team field at the Dale McNamara Invitational. The OU lineup was led by Rischer, who tied for 18th and recorded a 10-over 223.

Mayo tied for 22nd, finishing 11 over par. Tyrrell and Schlick tied for 28th (14-over, 227) and 30th (15-over, 228), respectively. Barber rounded out the Oklahoma lineup, tying for 43rd (20-over, 228). Chaney competed as an individual at the event, placing fourth with a 1-over 214.

THE COURSE
All three rounds will be played at Kissing Tree Golf Club (par 72, 6,123 yards).

FORMAT
The two-day tournament will include 36 holes on Sunday and conclude with 18 holes on Monday. Both rounds will tee off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
