TUSLA, Okla. ā Oklahoma women's golf placed third among the 16-team field at the Dale McNamara Invitational, which concluded Tuesday at Cedar Ridge Country Club. The Sooners posted a 43-over 895 in the 54-hole tournament on the par-71, 6,366-yard course.Ā
Senior
Reagan Chaney competed as an individual and placed fourth, tallying a score of 1-over 214. The Ardmore, Okla., product recorded her lone birdie of the final round on the fifth hole.
Freshman
Audrey Rischer led the OU lineup, tying for 18th with rounds of 73-72-78. Juniors
Gracie Mayo and
MaKayla Tyrrell tied for 22nd (11-over, 224), Ā and 28th (14-over, 227), respectively. Mayo capped the round with a birdie on the first hole of the course.
Junior
Isabelle Schlick fired a team-high three birdies in the final round, going under par on the third, fifth and 17th holes. Schlick moved up 25 spots on the leaderboard Tuesday to tie for 30th (15-over, 228).Ā
Junior
Savannah Barber rounded out the Oklahoma lineup, tying for 40th and earning a 20-over 233.Ā
The Sooners finished 16 strokes behind second-place Oklahoma State (27-over, 879) and No. 9 Arkansas (6-over, 858), and six strokes ahead of BYU (49-over, 901).Ā
