TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Oklahoma women's golf remained in seventh after the first 36 holes of the Florida State Match Up at Seminole Legacy Golf Club.
Oklahoma and Florida State (730) are atop the leaderboard in the match up standings and hold an 18-stroke edge over Kentucky and Notre Dame (748).
Raychel Nelke recorded a team-best 4-over 76 in the second round. She dropped two strokes on the first hole and responded with a birdie on the second. Nelke tallied back-to-back birdies on the sixth and seventh holes and concluded her first nine holes 1-under 35. She is tied for 41st.
Mikhaela Fortuna,
Nina Lang and
Kaylee Vesely each finished the day 5-over 77.
Fortuna enters the final round tied for 22nd. She recorded her lone birdie of the day on the fourth hole.
Lang and Barber join Fortuna in the top 30. Lang is tied for 26th and recorded a pair of birdies. Barber is tied for 30th and finished her second round 6-over 78.
Vesely tallied birdies on the eighth and 11th holes and is tied for 39th.
Emily Hun, Oklahoma's lone individual in the field, recorded a 3-over 75. Hun recorded a pair of birdies and finished the front nine even par 36. She is tied for 34th.
