OU Set To Host Three Matches

NORMAN - The No. 22 Oklahoma women's tennis is set to host SMU, Texas Tech and TCU this week at the Headington Family Tennis Center.

MATCHDAY BASICS

The Sooners' 2023 matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center will be open to the public and free of charge. Due to the elimination of concessions, fans are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks. OU also follows a clear bag policy.

To watch this week's matches, fans can watch via Playsight. First serve against the Mustangs is set for 1 p.m. CT on Wednesday and live stats can be found here. Friday's match vs. the Red Raiders is slated for 5 p.m. CT. Live stats can be found here. OU will face TCU on Sunday at 12 p.m. CT and can be followed along here.

LAST TIME OUT

OU is coming off a historic win over Baylor, defeating the Bears in Waco, Texas, for the first time since 2004.

The match started with a clinched doubles point from OU. No. 8 Alexandra Pisareva and Layne Sleeth claimed the first doubles court and Julia Garcia Ruiz and Romana Cisovska followed it up with a win on court three.

Pisareva and Sleeth secured the first two singles courts, while Emma Staker clinched the match at the No. 4 spot. Carmen Corley added another point for the Sooners on court two to give OU the 6-1 win over the Bears.

UP NEXT

The Sooners will head to the West Coast and start their trip against No. 5 Pepperdine on Friday, March 24 at 3 p.m. CT in Malibu, Calif. They will then make their way to San Diego, Calif., to take on San Diego on Saturday, March 25 at 2 p.m. CT.
