THE STARTING FIVE
- After Texas' loss to Iowa State on Monday night, an Oklahoma win on Wednesday would move the Sooners back into a tie for first place in the Big 12 at 11-3. Both the Horns and Sooners would have four games left after the midweek, and Oklahoma hosts Texas at Lloyd Noble Center on Feb. 25. The Sooners are hunting their seventh all-time Big 12 regular season championship, and first since they won the league in 2009.
- For the Sooners, the magic number is 80 points, as OU is undefeated when scoring 80 points in Big 12 play. Oklahoma posts an average of 91.6 points in Big 12 wins, but on the flip side, it scores just 68.7 points per game in its three conference losses.
- The Sooners have the country's No. 2 scoring offense, pouring in 86.9 points per game powered by a NCAA-leading 21.2 assists per game. The Sooners have four players that score in double figures, led by Madi Williams' 16.2 points per game. The Sooners have scored at least 88 points 14 times this season and are undefeated when scoring 80 points.
- The Sooners reached 20 wins faster than all but two teams in program history, using just 24 games to reach the mark. Only two of Oklahoma's three Final Four teams reached 20 victories faster than the 2023 Sooners, as the 2008-09 and 2001-02 teams, who both won 32 games, reached the 20-win mark in just 22 games. Last year's Sooner team reached the mark in 24 games, as Baranczyk's squads have posted nearly identical results through 24 games in her first two seasons.
- The Sooners are no strangers to winning close games - they're 7-0 in games decided by one possession under Baranczyk, winning on a last-second shot four times. In contests decided by single digits, Oklahoma is 16-3 since the start of the 2021-22 campaign and the Sooners haven't lost a game decided by five points or less since Nov. 20, 2021, vs. No. 9 Oregon.
SERIES HISTORY
The 69th meeting between Oklahoma and Texas Tech is on deck when the two sides meet on Wednesday night. The Sooners maintain a 41-27 all-time series lead, including a 22-10 record in Norman. Since the start of 2006, the Sooners are 31-6 vs. the Lady Raiders and have won four of the last five meetings, including an 89-79 win in Lubbock earlier this season.
TTU did win last year's contest in Norman, 97-87, behind Vivian Gray's 35 points. Tech has won two of the last three meetings at Lloyd Noble Center.
LAST TIME OUT
Liz Scott finished with 20 points and eight rebounds as No. 16/13 Oklahoma cruised to a road win, 85-68, at Kansas State on Sunday afternoon. The Sooners (20-4, 10-3 Big 12) outscored the Wildcats by a combined 19 points in the second and third quarters to earn their fourth win in a row as they remain one game back of first-place Texas in the Big 12 standings.

Oklahoma heads to Lawrence, Kan., on Sunday for a matchup with the Jayhawks at Allen Fieldhouse. Tip is set for 2 p.m. on ESPN+. The Sooners won the early-season matchup between the two, 80-74, in Norman on Jan. 4.
