OU Softball Nominated for Three ESPYS

NORMAN — Oklahoma softball has been nominated for three ESPY awards at the 2022 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. ESPN revealed the list of nominees Tuesday and fan voting is now live via ESPN.com/ESPYS.

Recent graduate and two-time USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Jocelyn Alo is nominated for two ESPYS, one in the category of Best College Athlete, Women's Sports and one for Best Record-Breaking Performance for breaking the NCAA career home run record in 2022.

As a team, the Sooners are up for Best Team for the second consecutive year.

The 2022 ESPYS will be broadcast live on Wednesday, July 20 at 7 p.m. CT from Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Fan voting is now underway for all categories and runs through July 17 at 7 p.m. CT.
