Wilson Earns Preseason Accolades

NORMAN – Oklahoma volleyball's Megan Wilson was selected to the 2022 All-Big 12 Volleyball Preseason Team as announced by the conference Wednesday.
Wilson finished her first season in the Crimson and Cream with 392 kills and ranked third in the Big 12 in kills and kills per set (3.70). She recorded double-digit kills in all but three of her matches and tallied a career-best 22 kills twice. Wilson added 47 blocks, 16 aces and 54 digs.
The Kingwood, Texas, product was named Southwest Region Freshman of the Year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and was selected to the 2021 All-Big 12 Rookie Team following her stellar freshman campaign.
Wilson was named Big 12 Rookie of the Week three times and earned conference Offensive Player of the Week honors once.
