OMAHA, Neb. – Oklahoma baseball redshirt sophomore shortstop
Peyton Graham was named a first-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and was one of several Sooners to receive national and regional recognition Wednesday.

The American Baseball Coaches Association also released its 2022 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I All-Region teams on Wednesday. Graham was named to the Central All-Region First Team, while redshirt sophomore catcher

Tanner Tredaway were listed on the Central All-Region Second Team.
Graham was also named a third-team All-American by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper, the NCBWA District 6 Co-Player of the Year and is a finalist for the Brooks Wallace Award for top shortstop in the nation. He was a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award, a first-team All-Big 12 selection and was named Most Outstanding Player of the 2022 Big 12 Championship. The Waxahachie, Texas, product leads Oklahoma with 20 home runs, four triples, 70 RBIs, 65 runs scored and 32 stolen bases, and has batted .335 this season. He has also registered 14 doubles, 28 multiple hit games and a team-best 21 multiple RBI contests. Graham is the first player in OU history to register 20 home runs and 30 stolen bases in a season.
Michael leads the Sooners with a 2.94 ERA and 10 saves. He has notched 90 strikeouts and allowed just 18 walks and a .209 opponent batting average in 64.1 innings across 28 appearances and two starts this season. He has appeared in eight games since the end of the regular season and earned two saves while registering 20 strikeouts over 16.2 innings. The Piedmont, Okla., product made his second start of the season and pitched 6.0 innings in the winner-take-all regional final at Florida, then closed both of OU's Super Regional victories.
Bennett has been the Sooners' Friday night starter all season, posting a 9-3 record and 3.53 ERA in 17 starts. The Bixby, Okla., product has struck out 120 batters and walked only 22 in 104.2 innings. He has gone at least 6.0 innings in 11 starts and allowed three or fewer runs in 11 starts and has been victorious in five straight starts. He earned his first career save in OU's regional final win over Florida.
Crooks has batted .311 with 20 doubles, seven home runs, 45 RBIs, 10 steals and 44 runs scored this season. The Euless, Texas, product has caught 19 runners stealing this season, and tallied three homers, five doubles and 14 RBIs over 11 games since the start of the Big 12 Championship on May 24.
Tredaway is OU's leading hitter with a .373 batting average. He has tallied 61 RBIs, 18 doubles, nine home runs, 59 runs scored and 23 steals. The Justin, Texas, product has a team-high 30 multiple hit games and 17 multiple RBI contests this season. Since the regular season ended, Tredaway has batted .500 (23 for 46) with three homers, five doubles, 10 RBIs and scored 11 runs in 11 games.
Oklahoma (42-22, 15-9 Big 12) opens the 2022 NCAA Men's College World Series against Texas A&M (42-18, 19-11 SEC) at 1 p.m. CT Friday at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in Omaha, Neb. The game will be televised on ESPN.
