NORMAN – The No. 2 Oklahoma women's tennis team is set to close the regular season this weekend with their last conference at No. 12 Oklahoma State on Friday, before heading back to Norman to face No. 5 Pepperdine on Sunday.
Sunday's match against Pepperdine is slated for noon CT, with senior
Marcelina Podlinska being honored pre-match for Senior Day.
MATCH DAY BASICS
The Sooners' 2022 matches at the Headington Family Tennis Center will be open to the public and free of charge. Due to the elimination of concessions, fan are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks. OU also has implemented a clear bag policy.
First serve against Oklahoma State is set for 4 p.m. CT on Friday. Live stats can be found here, while a live stream can be found here.
Sunday's match against Pepperdine is slated for noon CT. Fans can keep up with the action with live stats or watch on a live stream.
Free pizza will be provided to fans on Sunday, as well as a chance to win an apparel pack and TV.
LAST TIME OUT
The Sooners took two consecutive doubles wins. Ivana and
Carmen Corley claimed the top court over No. 68 duo Camilla Bossi and Ting-Pei Chang, 6-4, while
Anchisa Chanta and
Dana Guzman clinched the doubles point at the No. 3 spot, 7-5, over Kendall Kovick and Michaela Kucharova.
The match headed into singles, where the Sooners took all six courts. Senior and No. 65
Ivana Corley finished first on court four, defeating Camilla Bossi 6-1, 6-4. Freshman
Anchisa Chanta was next with her 6-2, 6-2 court three victory over Ting-Pei Chang. To clinch the match, junior and No. 17
Layne Sleeth dominated at the top court, taking down Anastasia Bovolskaia 6-2, 6-2.
Play continued on the remaining three courts. Junior and No. 41
Carmen Corley took the victory on court four against Kendall Kovick, 7-6 (10-3), 6-2.

The Sooners will travel to Stillwater to face Oklahoma State for their last regular season road match on Friday, April 15 at 4 p.m. CT.
