OU Concludes Regular Season T9th at The Bruzzy

FORT WORTH, Texas – Maria Fernanda Martinez led the Sooners on the final day of The Bruzzy and Oklahoma women's golf tied for ninth (884, +20) at the Waterchase Golf Club Tuesday.

Martinez fired a 2-under 70 and recorded three birdies on the back nine. She dropped two strokes with a pair of bogies but drained a birdie on her final hole of the tournament. Martinez tied for 20th and finished with a 2-over 218.

Hannah Screen dipped below par for her final 18 and tallied a 1-under 71. She finished the tournament tied for 28th and carded a 4-over 220. Screen opened two over through her first 10 holes and recorded three birdies in her next six holes, including back-to-back birdies on the fifth and sixth.

Libby Winans recorded a 4-over 76 in her final round and finished tied for 46th (8-over 224).

Mikhaela Fortuna fired the third-best OU round of the day, recording a 1-over 73. She tallied a bogie on her second hole and rattled off eight straight pars. Fortuna tallied her second bogie on the third and quickly responded with a birdie on the fourth. She finished 54th with a 10-over 226.

Meagan Winans finished The Bruzzy with her second-best round of the tournament. Winans shot a 4-over 76 and tallied a birdie on the 18th. She recorded a 15-over 231 and tied for 69th.
