MORGANTOWN, W. Va.  —  The No. 2 Oklahoma women's tennis team shut out the West Virginia Mountaineers to close the weekend, marking its ninth sweep of the season.

With the win, the Sooners clinched a share of the regular season Big 12 title. A victory over Oklahoma State on Friday would secure the outright crown.

Doubles started with a Mountaineer victory on court two. WVU's Anastasia Bovolskaia and Tatiana Lipatova took down Layne Sleeth and Emma Staker, 6-4.

The Sooners bounced back with two consecutive wins. Ivana and Carmen Corley claimed the top court over No. 68 duo Camilla Bossi and Ting-Pei Chang, 6-4, while Anchisa Chanta and Dana Guzman clinched the doubles point at the No. 3 spot, 7-5, over Kendall Kovick and Michaela Kucharova.

The match headed into singles, where the Sooners took all six courts. Senior and No. 65 Ivana Corley finished first on court four, defeating Camilla Bossi 6-1, 6-4. Freshman Anchisa Chanta was next with her 6-2, 6-2 court three victory over Ting-Pei Chang. To clinch the match, junior and No. 17 Layne Sleeth dominated at the top court, taking down Anastasia Bovolskaia 6-2, 6-2.
